Every year Pantone releases a color of the year that is a reflection of what is taking place in our culture. Current fashion trends and consumer attitudes are two of the many factors they look at when selecting a color. For 2016 Pantone released two colors, Rose Quartz and Serenity. Rose Quartz which is a soft rose tone that represents composure and Serenity which is reflective of the calm blue sky above us. Together these colors bring both calm tranquility and inner peace, something Pantone felt like consumers were looking for.
