It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Well per usual, this year started off so slow and then somehow I blinked and it was already December. I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving and are gearing up for all the holiday season has to offer. If you are looking for an easy no bake dessert, check out my Cookie Butter pie (it’s seriously like crack).
I share that recipe as I am also about to say how it can be challenging to eat healthy when there are so many desserts and indulgences around. If you’re struggling with indulging in moderation or want to indulge now and start 2023 on a healthy foot, I recommend checking out my Sweetkick post. They have mints and prebiotics that can help curve your cravings and a 14 day sugar reset kit. If you use the code BLAZERSANDBLUEJEANS you can save 20% off your purchase of $14 or more.
So I know I have mentioned something about Rakuten every month for the last three months but I’m only being annoying because I want you guys to save as much money as possible! I have been doing so much shopping (both for myself and as gifts) and I have earned more than $100 in cash back, THIS QUARTER ALONE. So like I said, if you haven’t signed up already they have a $40 sign up bonus right now. So that means you’ll earn $40 in cash back once you spend $40. This is the best time to sign up because Rakuten only does their $40 sign on bonus once a year AND there are soo many extra cash back rewards. For example, Dermstore is usually 1% – 5% cash back but for cyber Monday it was 20%!! That’s basically 20% off your purchase! So if you want to save money on the holiday shopping you’re going to do this holiday season, sign up for Rakuten!
Before I share all the holiday season wallpapers, I also wanted to share a couple of my favorite items that I couldn’t live without. So if you’re not sure what to get someone, check out some of these ideas!
Items that would make great gifts!
- 2 Basket Ninja Airfryer: Having two baskets is an absolute game changer. You can set the cook timers so that they will both end at the same time, even if they are at different times or have different temperatures. I also recommend air fryer liners to make cleanup a breeze.
- Anova Sous Vide: If you suck at cooking like me, this will change your life. Everything I have ever cooked in here has turned out perfectly and you literally set it and forget it.
- MicrodermaMitt: I got this last year for Christmas and it’s on my list again! I always feel so satisfied after using this because I can see all the dead skin come off. And if you use self tanner like me, Isle of Paradise is my favorite, it makes sure it goes on evenly.
- Kion Amino Acid Supplements: If you have been following me for a while, you know I am an avid bone broth drinker and I literally found out a month or two ago that your body doen’t really absorb all the goodness that is in bone broth without amino acids to help break it down. Amino acids aren’t really regulated by the US government so I was hesitant to order anything off Amazon. I listened to a podcast episode with the founder of Kion and I decided to give it a try. Let me say I have totally noticed a difference since taking them. I personally prefer the pills over the drink mix but try both and see which you like more.
- Olay Vitamin C Face Mask Kit: I listened to another podcast episode with Dr. Dennis Gross (I love his skincare products) and he said for your AHA/lactic acid and vitamin c to be more effective you should mix them together. He claimed he was the only one with a product that combined the two on the market but plot twist, he’s not! He does have a serum with lactic acid and vitamin c but it’s not cheap. This Olay face mask kit combines vitamin c and lactic acid and my face feels exfoliated and looks brighter. Plus it’s only $20!
Now on to the holiday wallpapers! If these don’t get you in the festive spirit, you might just be the grinch. I hope you all have an amazing holiday season this year and get to spend lots of time with friends and family. Happy holidays!
