April showers bring floral May wallpapers. There are so many floral wallpapers this month and I sound like The Devil Wears Parada when Miranda Priestly says “Florals for spring, groundbreaking.” but I love a good floral print so I’m not going to complain. Before I share the May wallpapers, an update on my life!
In April I was able to check 7 (well more like 6.5 because I couldn’t finish one) books off of my list, which brings my total this year to 27!!! If you want to see which books I recommend and which one I couldn’t finish, check out my Instagram post. My goal this year was 24 and I’ve already surpassed that 4 months into the year. Granted I didn’t read all of them but, a book is a book no matter how you digest it.Â
I am also going to be in Denver this coming week, for work and play, so if you have any fun recommendations, please share them! I already have a list of restaurants, bakeries, and thrift stores to go to. I’ll be making a fun announcement about some plans for the Fall and once I have them nailed down, I’ll be sharing and looking for lots of recommendations from you all!
I recently got a Whoop band and I’ve only been wearing it for a couple days but the insights so far have been really interesting. Even though I am in the marketing field, I am a huge fan of data and making decisions based on data. So I am hoping that Whoop will be able to give me more insight and data about my body and how to optimize my workouts. I workout at least 4 times a week and LOVE my digital Peloton membership (I don’t have a bike or tread and if you want to try the digital Peloton membership that I have you can try it for 2 months if you sign up with this link) but sometimes I don’t know if I am working out hard enough or maybe over-exerting myself. If you use my link, you can get a month free!
One last thing I want to share before the May wallpapers, if you are looking to have a healthy glow for the Spring and Summer, you have to try tanning drops. I have tried both Tanologist and Isle of Paradise and they both give you the perfect glow overnight. It might be TMI but since I stopped taking my birth control, my body has been all over the place, including bloating. Something that has really helped with that is HUM Flatter Me Digestive Enzymes. I’m not sure what magical ingredients are in it but I’ve been taking it for a couple of weeks and it’s really helped with bloating.
Now on to the May wallpapers! I hope you all are having a great spring and enjoying the warmer weather!
