HAPPY NOVEMBER!! Before sharing the November 2023 wallpapers, I wanted to share some things I can’t live without and some ways you can bake money back from holiday shopping. If you do the bulk of your shopping like I do and haven’t signed up for Rakuten, WHAT ARE YOU EVEN DOING? I use Rakuten for everything and since signing up two years ago, I have earned almost $1,000 in cashback. Literally for buying things I was planning on buying anyway. If you haven’t signed up for Rakuten, I would 100% recommend you sign up before doing all your Black Friday and holiday shopping, plus you get a $30 bonus for signing up.
Now is also a great time to sign up for a new credit card if you are in the market. They usually have signup bonuses that require you to spend $3,000-$4,000 in the first 3 months to get the bonus so if you time that with your holiday shopping, you might be able to hit the bonus. I personally love my Chase Sapphire Preferred card. I’ve had the card for over 5 years and have earned well over $3,000 in cash back on this card. I even bought my Apple Macbook with my points because they had a 25% redemption bonus with Apple. I don’t at all recommend purchasing things you don’t need to get a signup bonus but if you plan on doing holiday shopping or plan on making a big purchase on a credit card it’s the perfect time to sign up for a new one!
Things to add to your holiday wishlist
Since Black Friday and Cyber Monday are right around the corner, I wanted to share some stuff that have been a game changer for me and I would totally recommend adding them to your wishlist. Or if you’re like me and like to purchase everything yourself, they will usually go on sale after Thanksgiving.
- Braun IPL Laser Hair Removal Tool. I literally have almost no hair on my body thanks to this device. I will admit it is annoying how frequently you have to do it in the beginning but once you’re in maintenance mode, it is amazing to only have to shave like once a month.
- A Steam Mop. I have had two Sharks and loved them both. A steam mop is amazing for cleaning the floors without all the chemicals and without the bucket and water like traditional mopping.
- Ninja Air Fryer. Everytime I use my air fryer I think to myself, “How had I survived so long without one”. I splurged and got the two basket one and its amazing if you are cooking multiple things at once, like a meat and a veggie.
- A Good Blender. If you have been following me for a while, you know how much I love smoothies so a good blender is an absolute must. The Ninja one I have can do a lot more than just make smoothies but I am not a huge cook so I never use all the functionality. If you’re getting a blender I also recommend getting yourself some Blender Bombs.
- Temperpedic Pillows. I could not recommend getting a good pillow more. Sleep is soo important and having a good pillow will help you sleep better and not wake up with neck pain. I will admit, pillows can be expensive but you spend so much of your time sleeping so totally think they are worth the splurge.
Shop Sephora’s Sale
Lastly, Sephora is having their semiannual sale and their stuff is up to 30% off with the code TIMETOSAVE. Since I have finally nailed down most of my skincare and haircare routine, here are a few items from Sephora that I couldn’t live without.
- Dr. Dennis Gross Peels. I use these 2-3 times a week and my skin always looks amazing the day after. They are not cheap, which is why I don’t use them everyday but when I do use them, my skin looks super glowy.
- Sunday Riley Vitamin C Serum. This is my favorite vitamin C serum that I have ever used. It’s so lightweight, doesn’t pill, and after using it consistently for a few weeks my skin looks brighter.
- IT Cosmetics Confidence in a Cream. I started using this on my deep moisturizing days and I wake up with my skin feeling extra hydrated. It is on the thicker side so I only use it when my skin is feeling super dry, otherwise I use CeraVe.
- PMD Personal Microderm Tool. I use this once a week and I feel like it really helps get the top layer of skin off of so my skincare products penetrate deeper. I also love how there are several different levels of coarse discs so you can work up to the rougher textures.
